A spokesman for Sindh Chief Minister Dr Arbab Ghulam Rahim, on Monday strongly rebutted the reports appearing in a section of the press alleging that an inquiry was being conducted against former provincial minister Arif Mustafa Jatoi. Terming the report as baseless, the spokesman said that the Chief Minister made no reference to any such thing. He said that while replyin9 to a question by journalists that whether an inquiry is being conducted against Arif Mustafa Jatoi the Chief Minister had clearly stated that Arif Jatoi had resigned because of his some personal preoccupations.

He had also stated that inquiry was being conducted not against Arif Jatoi, but some officials involved in the sabzi mandi matter.

He reiterated that neither any inquiry was in progress against Arif Jatoi nor Chief Minister had said any thing in this regard.
